We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Lynn Spores
Office Manager

I am fortunate to be the office manager for such respected professionals such as Dr. Wong & Dr. Hokett. We have built this practice together with our excellent team of assistants and clerical staff. We strive to provide the best possible care in a professional, caring and fun environment. It is a privilege to be part of this wonderful family.

I have been in the dental field since 1975. I began my career as a receptionist, was a periodontal surgery assistant for two years and the remaining years have been in dental office management. I have known and worked with Dr. Wong since 1987 and Dr. Hokett since 2006 when he joined our practice.

When not at work I am very involved with my husband Harold, three children and four grandchildren. I enjoy reading, cooking, playing board games and camping.

Treatment Coordinator

Hi! My name is Lisa and I have been a Treatment Coordinator here since 2006.

Salmon Creek Oral Surgery & Periodontics is the best place to work and receive the finest in dental and medical care. This is truly a special place. Although I have only been on staff here since December 2006, I have had the opportunity to work with several of our staff members at different times over the past eight years. And even though I am not a "Perio Angel", I am an "Insurance Queen". If there is a way to get your claim paid by your insurance company I will find it!

I am married to the most wonderful guy in the world, David and have three grown and out of the house (Thank God!) boys. I enjoy riding motorcycles (have a Valkyrie) and I travel extensively.

Erin Mitchell
Perio Assistant

Hi! My name is Erin, also known as "Sissy," and I'm a Perio Angel here at Salmon Creek Oral Surgery and Periodontics. I joined the family here in 2007. I have been in the dental field for 12 years (since I was a baby, I swear!) and in the Perio field for the last four of them.

In my spare time – what's that?!? I go to college with the goal of becoming a dental hygienist. I like to karaoke, run, hike and work-out and occasionally dance in the hallways here in between patients. We call it Team-Building!

Seriously, I really enjoy my job and my patients and the special care we give them here in a homey yet professional environment.

Silvia Albarran
Patient Care Coordinator/Surgical Assistant

I have been a Patient Care Coordinator/Surgical Assistant for Salmon Creek Oral Surgery & Periodontics since the practice opened in January 2005. I began my assisting career in 1987 and worked with Dr. Wong in his previous practice beginning in 1990. I was his lead surgical assistant for the first 12 years then became his Patient Care Coordinator to help meet the needs of his growing practice. I enjoy working one on one with patients' and my goal is to make each patient's experience here a pleasant one.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren. I am also a licensed Cosmetologist/Makeup Artist.

Jeff Chilcote
Surgical Assistant

Hi, my name is Jeff and I am the newest member of the Salmon Creek Oral Surgery and Periodontics team. I've been a dental assistant since 2001 and joined this great group of people in 2007. I have been married for 26 years and have a 19 year old son. We also have a beagle named Aggie. In my spare time I like classic cars, music, movies and baseball, which I have coached for about 12 years.

I have lived in Clark County all my life, so I have met quite a few people, and see a lot of them or their relatives at our office. In fact everyone at our office always asks if there is anyone I don't know.

The whole team is an awesome group to work with. The ‘"Perio Angels," as they like to be called, nicknamed me "Sparky." I am not sure why. I guess "Brad Pitt" was already taken. I take pride in trying to make every patient as comfortable as possible and make his or he visits entertaining along with being informative.

Kim Redburn
Surgical Assistant

My name is Kim and I've been a part of Dr. Wong's team since 1998. Wow, a long time! I received my OMAAP certification in 2005. Dr. Wong and the people here are like family to me, we've all been through so much together in the years. I love my job and meeting such a variety of people in the way of patients that come through our door. The greatest joy of my job is my ability to calm and comfort our patients and giving them a better experience.

My husband, Brandon, and I live on our property in Battleground and in our spare time we like to enjoy the great Pacific Northwest outdoors!

Gabe VonAhlefeld
Surgical Assistant

My name is Gabe and I started in general dentistry in 2002. I moved to the Oral Surgery field in 2004 with Dr. Kreger. I came to Salmon Creek Oral Surgery and Periodontics in 2006 and quickly was adopted by a bunch of crazy "sisters." Working with women…you may have noticed a lot of chocolate in every corner of the building. I really enjoy my work here and the people I work with.

In my spare time I love playing with my two lab/retrievers (Bella & Sigg). I also race rally cars as well as my newly acquired motorcycle. And the occasional x-box live!

The surgery team, as well as the whole office staff, has been great to work with. They have all helped further my knowledge in oral surgery.

Danyka MacTalla aka "Dany"
Surgical Assistant

I have been a surgical assistant in Oral Surgery with Dr. Wong since July 2000. More recently I moved into Periodontics with Dr. Hokett when he joined our team in 2006. I am OMAAP certified as an Anesthesia Assistant and I also maintain a nationally accredited CDA with yearly continuing education. But my biggest bragging right comes in the nickname "Perio Angels," given to Erin and me by Dr. Hokett.

Working with this team is like working with family. We care and support each other, and the patients can feel it when we take care of them. Many of our patients walk in the door nervous and worried. Most leave feeling relaxed, relieved and many leave with a smile or a laugh on their faces. We take care of our patients wholly, not just administering to their oral surgery/perio needs but to their well-being and comfort.

My at-home family…I am the mother of four daughters, and I have two grandchildren. In my free time I play and beta test Massively Multi-Player Online Role-playing Games (mmorpg's), write fan-fiction and dabble in creating 3D artwork.

Luana Lopez
Surgical Assistant

My name is Luana, I've been in the dental field since 2003. I am happily married (most times, haha) to my husband, Josh, and I have a 10 month old son, Elijah. The doctors call him Elvis since he was born in the new office. We moved from our home in Lanai, Hawaii and have been living in Washington for eight years.

Anyone in our office can tell you, I LOVE to eat! I was dubbed the human garbage disposal the day I brought a whole chicken for lunch and ate it all by myself. I couldn't help it, I was hungry! (I wasn't pregnant!)

Seriously, my family life here at Salmon Creek OSP is great I couldn't be blessed with a better office family. I think our patients really can feel that we all get along great by their experience. I could tell you more but I gotta go eat something ha ha.

Inna Pavlenko
Surgical Assistant

My name is Inna Pavlenko and I have been a part of Salmon Creek Oral Surgery and Periodontics family since 2006. I was so amazed by the type of care I got as a patient of Dr. Wong's, when I came for my wisdom teeth surgery in 2005 that I wanted to be a part of this great team, making differences in our patient's lives. We all try to provide the best care possible to all of our patients by treating them like our family. I feel really blessed to be a part of such a loving team.

When I am not in the office, I like spending time with my husband, Leo, our son, Joseph, and the rest of my "big" family, friends and church. I also enjoy outdoors, cooking, drawing, scrapbooking, reading and photography.

Julie Aguirre

My name is Julie. I have the honor of being one of the first people to greet you upon entering our office! I previously worked in the dental transcription field so that I could stay home with my children before joining Dr. Hokett in January 2005 at his previous office and followed him here to our new office in November 2006. We truly do have the greatest working ‘family'. I know this will be my job I retire from!

I have been married for 22 years and have three children: two boys ages 17 and 11 and one girl aged 10. They keep my schedule very, very busy with basketball, baseball, football, softball, soccer and various school activities. When I do have spare time, I love to travel, keep fit and read.
